United Nations Secretary General António Guterres sent a message of sympathy to the Vietnamese Government and people on serious human and property losses caused by recent floods and landslides in several central provinces.

In his message, Guterres lauded the Vietnamese Government’s efforts to support affected families, affirming that the UN stays ready to provide Viet Nam with humanitarian assistance to help the country overcome this difficult time soon.
