Presenting gifts to families of road traffic accident victims in Da Nang

Representatives from the Da Nang Traffic Safety Committee, on 11 and 12 November, visited families whose relatives had died in road traffic accidents across the city to mark the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, which is on Sunday,15 November.

The group was led by Col Le Quoc Dan, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Police and Mr Nguyen Huu Cuong, Chief of the city’s Traffic Safety Board Secretariat.

The visitors paid visits to 11 poor families of traffic accident victims in Hai Chau 1 Ward (Hai Chau District), Tho Quang and Man Thai wards (Son Tra District), Hoa Quy Ward (Ngu Hanh Son District), Xuan Ha Ward (Thanh Khe District), Hoa Hiep Bac Ward (Lien Chieu District), and Hoa Khuong and Hoa Phu communes (Hoa Vang District).

During their visits to these families, Col Dan and Chief Cuong extended their words of warm encouragement to them, hoping them overcome grief and bereavement following the death of their loved ones to have better lives. They presented cash gifts, worth 2 million VND each, to the families.
