Da Nang Party Committee Deputy Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet has been appointed to be Chairman of the municipal People’s Council (PCl) for the 2016 - 2021 tenure to replace the former PCl Chairman, Mr Nguyen Nho Trung, who has retired.

Municipal People’s Committee (PC) Vice Chairman Le Trung Chinh has been promoted to be Chairman of the PC for the 2016 - 2021 tenure to replace the former PC Chairman Huynh Duc Tho who has retired.

The appointment of the new city key leaders was officially announced at the Wednesday afternoon session of the Da Nang People’s Council in its 9^th tenure for the 2016 - 2021 term.

Also at the session, Secretary of the Cam Le District Party Committee Le Quang Nam was voted as Vice Chairman of the municipal PC in the 2016 - 2021 term as a replacement for former PC Vice Chairman Tran Van Mien who has retired.

Director of the municipal Department of Planning and Investment Tran Thi Thanh Tam, and Director of the city’s Department of Industry and Trade Le Thi Kim Phuong, were elected to be members of municipal PC in order to replace former members Tran Phuoc Son, Secretary of the Lien Chieu District Party Committee, and Le Tung Lam, Secretary of the Thanh Khe District Party Committee.
