Vietnamese chief representatives overseas willing to support Da Nang in international cooperation
Da Nang is still looking forwards to receiving more active support from Viet Nam’s representative agencies overseas to boost its international cooperation and exchanges in the coming times.

The statement was made by Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang during his Friday reception for a group of Vietnamese chief representatives abroad in the 2020-2023 term, led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son.
Also present at the reception for Vietnamese diplomats were Da Nang People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh and other key city leaders.
During his meeting with his guests, Secretary Quang briefed them on Da Nang’s socio-economic development incentives for the time ahead, with an emphasis firmly placed on promoting diplomatic and economic relationships with foreign localities as a proactive move to step up investment attraction and tourism recovery.
In his assessments, Deputy Minister Son highlighted great efforts made by the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in synchronously and effectively implementing schemes, and activities to boost the friendly and cooperative ties with foreign countries around the world.

The national government official, noticeably, pledged that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and chiefs of Viet Nam’s representative agencies abroad in particular, would be more willing to assist Da Nang in speeding up international cooperation in the time to come. He also expressed his belief on more remarkable strides made by Da Nang on its ambitious path of becoming a major centre for political, economic and social activities in Central Viet Nam.
Also at the event, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs donated 300 million VND to Da Nang to support the city's efforts in overcoming the consequences of recent natural disasters.
