In 2020, over 43.5 billion VND in total was raised by the Da Nang Study Encouragement Association and its chapters across the city to fund study encouragement activities. 

The raised money was used to donate learning tools for poor pupils, grant scholarships to poor studious pupils, and give gifts to those with good academic results.

Also last year, Da Nang Study Encouragement Association effectively piloted the ‘Promoting Studying Spirit among citizens’ model in the city.

In 2021, the Association maps out effective plans to promote study encouragement activities across the city in an effort to help Da Nang develop itself into a city of learning in the future.

The focus will be on promoting innovations in the Association’s operations, and calling on all local residents and overseas Vietnamese people to get involved in local study encouragement activities.

Recently, a total of 24 groups and individuals have received Certificates of Merit in honour of their active involvement in local study encouragement activities.
