Da Nang Party chief pays pre-Tet to hospital treating COVID-19 imported cases
Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang on Monday visited and extended his Tet greetings to the staff of the Da Nang Lung Hospital where COVID-19 imported cases are being treated.

During his reception for Secretary Quang, doctor Le Thanh Phuc, the Director of the Da Nang Lung Hospital said, since the second wave of the coronavirus hit the city last year this medical facility has still been designated to provide care and treatment for arrivals from overseas who catch the SARS-CoV-2.
Till date, the hospital has treated 31 SARS-CoV-2 patients, of whom 20 were discharged from hospital.
Currently, only 11 patients who returned from the US are still receiving treatment at the hospital.

There are 20 doctors and medical workers getting involved in treating severely ill patients stricken by the coronavirus at this medical facility.
The city Party chief highly lauded the hospital’s staff for their arduous efforts and great dedication towards treating COVID-19 patients during the two waves of the deadly virus hitting the city last year. In particular, many doctors there have become highly-qualified experts in treating the coronavirus-stricken patients.

The city leader also asked the hospital’s staff to promote their important roles and responsibilities in treating COVID-19 patients, amid the pandemic has still been complicated in some Vietnamese localities.
