During his meeting with leaders of Hoa Bac Commune, Vice Chairman Nam highly hailed the locality’s remarkable achievements and its devotion for the city's growth over the past year.

During his visit to the Bau Bang Drug Rehabilitation Centre, Mr Nam expressed his sympathy over difficulties facing the centre’s staff in taking care of health, and enhancing the spiritual life of drug addicts. He urged the centre’s leaders to make greater effort to improve the spiritual and material lives of the centre’s staff and drug addicts over the upcoming Tet holiday.

At the headquarters of the Brigade 74, Vice Chairman Nam highly commended the unit for its great devotion to ensure the city’s security and defence.

Mr Nam also wished military officers and men, along with their families, a happy and warm Tet. He asked them to continue upholding the revolutionary tradition so as to successfully fulfill their assigned tasks, thereby significantly contributing to the city's development strides in the coming time.

Also on the same day, the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee visited and donated Tet gifts, valued at 700,000 VND each, to Co Tu people living in the communes of Hoa Bac and Hoa Phu in suburban Hoa Vang District.

Also on Monday, Head of the Economics and Budget Board of Da Nang People’s Council Tran Chi Cuong visited and extended his Tet greetings to heroic Vietnamese mother Ngo Thi Nghia and war invalid Nguyen Minh Hoa, both residing in Thanh Khe District’s Tam Thuan Ward.

Mr Cuong highly hailed them for their great devotion for the national revolution and the city’s progress. He hoped that they would continue to stay healthy, uphold their families’ traditional patriotism, and encourage their descendants to make greater efforts for the city’s growth.
