The Da Nang Party Committee (PC) on Monday officially opened its Chamber of Revolutionary Traditions on Monday at 72 Bach Dang to celebrate its 91st founding anniversary of the establishment (28 March) and 46th anniversary of the city’s Liberation Day (29 March).

In attendance at the event were municipal PC Secretary Nguyen Van Quang, and other key municipal officials and the former leaders over historical periods.
In his remarks at the ceremony, municipal PC Deputy Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet affirmed that the inauguration of the Chamber in the current period is necessary and appropriate to affirm the heroic traditions of the municipal PC and educate local cadres, Party members and the public as a whole, especially younger generations about national glorious revolutionary traditions and ardent patriotism.
Work started on the venue on October 29, 2020, and reach completion after six months of construction.
On display are currently a combined total of more than 370 time-honoured, highly-valuable images, documents and artifacts fully and vividly reflecting remarkable construction and development strides of the municipal PC, especially during the whole country’s resistance wars and the city’s ambitious journey of turning itself into a more civilised, prosperous and modern city.
All these exhibits together help to vividly and honestly reflect the city’s ‘glorious historical pages’, thereby offering a deeper insight into the city’s image with a traditional, resilient, indomitable stature in its revolutionary cause and with a creative thinking in the burgeoning innovation period.

The focal point of the Chamber of Revolutionary Traditions is the spacious stateroom designed in the centre, highlighting a relief of the Dong Son bronze drum, the Party and national flags, and a bust of the late State President Ho Chi Minh. |

The venue is decorated according to there main themes reflecting remarkable construction and development strides of the municipal PC over different historical periods, namely the resistance war against the French colonialism (1930 - 1954), the fight against the US imperialism (1954 - 1975), and the city’s development and protection cause (1975 - 2020). |
