In his remarks at the event, Da Nang Party Committee Deputy Secretary cum People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh commended Ngu Hanh Son District for its remarkable achievements during its progress journey over recent years.

At the same time, he expressed his strong belief that, in the coming time, the district will continue to make more new socio-economic breakthroughs, by leaps and bounds, to become more civilised and modern, hereby making more dedication to Da Nang’s growth.

The municipal government chief suggested that, in the time to come, the district focus on implementing synchronously and effectively the resolutions of the Party, the National Assembly, the national government, as well as policies and instructions released by the municipal administration, and strive to exceed targets and tasks set for 2021 and subsequent years.

It is high time for Ngu Hanh Son District to well implement the strategic planning for the development of infrastructure and urban space in the sustainable direction and promote its potential strengths as well, especially in line with the Prime Minister-approved adjustments to the master plan for Da Nang’s major developments by 2030, with a vision to 2045.

A special heed should be paid to speeding up administrative reforms, building up a strong political system, promoting democracy, with a focus on building a contingent of qualified and capable cadres, civil servants and public employees.

Of special note, the festival's recognition brings joy and pride to the public across Da Nang, including Buddhist followers and people in Ngu Hanh Son District. It is essential that, in the coming time, the cultural value of the festival should be preserved and promoted considerably.

The Quan The Am Festival takes place at Ngu Hanh Son District's Quan The Am (Avalokitecvara) Pagoda in the Marble Mountains Tourist Area from 17th - 19th days of the 2nd lunar month every year.
