Enrichment activities have been launched in Da Nang to mark Youth Month organised by the Da Nang Youth Union which has “Da Nang’s youth are very proud of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU)’s tradition” as its theme.

The municipal campaign, which ran from February 27 until the end of March, has attracted the participation of over 30,000 YU members across Da Nang.

A wide range of enrichment activities have been launched in Da Nang during month-long campaign to mark the 90th birthday of HCYU. Included are the building of new rural areas and a civilised urban lifestyle, environment protection activities, and promoting technological innovations to improve labour productivity.

In response to this year’s Youth Month campaign, YU members across Da Nang have become actively involved in voluntary campaigns and charitable activities in the city.

The focus has been given to upgrading 113 residential access roads, repairing downgraded houses for YU members in difficult circumstances, giving free health insurance cards to 20 poor pupils, and more. In addition, Da Nang’s YU members actively participated in the city’s blood donation campaigns. As a result, 1,900 units of blood units in total have been collected.
