Da Nang functional agencies on Thursday conducted a drill on COVID-19 prevention and control procedures in the run-up to the upcoming elections of deputies to the 15^th National Assembly (NA) and all-level People’s Councils for the 2021-2026 tenure at a dormitory in the western part of the city which temporarily serves as a concentrated quarantine site.

According to the drill process, as soon as the third constituency of Hoa Hiep Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District completes the opening ceremony of the elections, the election team’s staffers will move a ballot box to the designated quarantine site under the supervision of functional forces.

The inside of the designated quarantine site where the list of candidates is displayed is also disinfected by medical staff.

After the disinfection, those who are subject to quarantine and on duty at the dormitory will receive ballots in-person voting.

Anyone inside the concentrated quarantine site must comply with COVID-19 precautions whist casting ballots.

Voters who are identified as the close contacts of COVID-19 cases exercise their citizenship rights and obligations on the Election Day.

After the voting, functional force will disinfect the ballot box and seal it again. The election team’s members will be transported by medical vehicles under the supervision of functional local forces.
