On the behalf of the government and people of Da Nang, municipal People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh has delivered congratulatory greetings to Bulgaria’s Varna, with which Da Nang has had an established relationship since 2014, on the 100^th anniversary of its proclamation as a holiday destination.

Varna, the summer city of Bulgaria on the Black Sea coast, with over 1,000 years of historical traditions displayed in its museums and old streets, boasts a current stature as one of the most cosmopolitan and modern cities in Bulgaria, attracting millions of international travellers for sightseeing and relaxation.

The anniversary this year is a special event with a series of celebrations and festivities, hereby contributing to recognise Varna as a holiday destination in the hearts of tourists from all corners of the world.

Interestingly, Da Nang is also a beautiful and dynamic coastal city in Viet Nam, bearing many similarities to Varna. “

We do hope for and look forward to continuing to promote the bilateral cooperation with your city for mutual development” , affirmed Chairman Chinh.

Since the establishment of the bilateral cooperative ties in 2014, Da Nang and Varna have regularly made information exchanges and sought practical cooperation opportunities.

On this occasion, the Da Nang leader also extended his best wishes to the government and people of Varna as it is on track to promote its strengths of a ‘tourism coastal city’ so as to become more beautiful, civilised and modern in the time ahead.
