Responding an appeal issued by the Da Nang Youth Union, close to 10,000 youth union members across the city have till date signed up as volunteers to help in the fight against COVID-19.  About 4,500 of them will become volunteer responders serving in emergency situations while the remainder will support blood donations.

In addition, more than 3,000 others in the city are joining the city’s battle against COVID-19. They are volunteering in a range of different roles, such as helping people under lockdown to do grocery shopping, staffing at local wet markets, distributing coronavirus information leaflets in order to raise public awareness of what coronavirus is, how to reduce the risk of the virus.
