The Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee on Monday afternoon received financial support worth VND 1 billion in total from three businesses to help the city tackle its ongoing coronavirus wave.

In detail, Viet Nam Electricity Corporation donated VND 500 million, Da Nang Power One Member Company Limited VND 200 million, and Da Nang Port VND 300 million.

Municipal Fatherland Front Committee Chairman Ngo Xuan Thang thanked the donors for their generosity and active support to Da Nang to help the city in its fight against COVID-19. Mr Thang also highlighted the importance and meaning of cash donations from businesses in supporting the city’s efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus.
