Vice Chairman of the Da Nang Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Tran Viet Dung on Thursday visited and presented gifts to personnel staffing at eleven COVID-19 checkpoints at points of entry to the city in Lien Chieu, Ngu Hanh Son, Cam Le, Son Tra, Hoa Vang districts.

During his visits to the checkpoints, Mr. Tran Viet Dung highlighted huge efforts by staff at all COVID-19 checkpoints in the city to preventing the risk of the virus being transmitted from new arrivals.

He also took the opportunity to urge the staff at all COVID-19 checkpoints to make greater efforts to fulfill their assigned tasks, contributing to Da Nang’s success in containning the threat of coronavirus variants spreading in the city.

Staff members at the checkpoints pledged that they would do their utmost to fulfill their assigned tasks in a bid to keep coronavirus out of the city.
