Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour donates VND200 million to Da Nang employees impacted by COVID-19
Da Nang Labour Federation Chairman Nguyen Duy Minh on Monday presented a total of VND200 million donated by the Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour to local medical and blue-collar workers financially struggling amid the new COVID-19 wave.

In detail, VND100 million went to the medical staff on duty at the Da Nang Lung Hospital, one of the two medical facilities where COVID-19 patients are being treated. Meanwhile, gifts, worth VND1 million each, were provided for Son Tra District’s Trade Union members living in difficult circumstances triggers by COVID-19.
Besides, the municipal Labour Federation plans to present gifts, valued at VND300,000 each, to 5,000 workers financially affected by the current COVID-19 resurgence, especially those working for tourism services.
Also, VND1 million in aids is expected to be provided for each of employees in the tourism sector and teachers at local preschools and private educational facilities in this financially challenging time.
