Businesses-donated 5,000 gifts worth VND 1 billion in total for Hoa Vang's disadvantaged residents

The BRG Group and the Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank), on Sunday, together presented 5,000 gifts worth a total of VND1 billion to the disadvantaged in Hoa Vang District.

Each gift is valued at VND200,000, consisting food and essential items.

Mr. Nguyen Ha Nam, Chairman of Hoa Vang District People's Committee thanked the donators for their valuable and active support which are of practical significance to ensuring life stabilisation amid the tough times triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Previously, BRG Group and SeABank had also donated a total of VND600 million in cash for Son Tra, Ngu Hanh Son and Lien Chieu districts, with each receiving VND200 million, to support their efforts in the fight against COVID-19.

As revealed by Mr. Nguyen Hung Anh, Director of the Da Nang - Quang Nam branch of BRG Group, next month, the two businesses will give medical equipment with a total value of VND10 billion for the sake of COVID-19 testing and treatment in the city.

These are modern medical equipment manufactured by prestigious corporations in Sweden and Switzerland, including 3 continuous dialysis machines, 50 oxygen ventilators and 300 SpO2 concentration meters.
