It is known that about VND 100 billion from the municipal budget is expected to be spend on implementing this large-scale supportive move amid the complicated developments of the coronaviris resurgence in the city.
Accordingly, 100% of the people in the blockaded sites receive VND40,000/person/day.
Son Tra District is currently a COVID-19 hotpot in Da Nang with a high number of infections logged over recent days. Since July 10, this district has recorded 325 COVID-19 cases.
The rise in infections prompted the Son Tra District authorities to impose strict local lockdown order in the 5 above-mentioned wards on August 3 until further notice. Accordingly, more than 31,000 households with a combined total of over 126,000 inhabitants now live in sequestered areas in the 5 wards.
In the locked-down areas linked to COVID-19 cases, functional forces’ staffers equipped with protective gears are in charge of coming in-person to each family for the hand-over of the donated money.
