Doctors and nurses from Da Nang to be dispatched to HCMC to help tackle COVID-19

The C Hospital in Da Nang on Wednesday held a farewell ceremony for 15 doctors, 30 nurses and 5 medical technicians who will be dispatched to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), the worst-hit locality in Viet Nam, to help it in the battle against COVID-19 in response to an appeal issued by the Ministry of Health.

The hospital plans to dispatch its second medical team to other affected localities in the country to help them to tackle the deadly disease.

Doctor Nguyen Trong Thien, the Director of the C Hospital gave spiritual encouragement to the dispatched team and expressed his belief that they would do their utmost to fulfill their assigned tasks.

Doctor Cao Chi Hieu, the leader of the dispatched team, said all of the dispatched medical team members are determined to do their utmost within their potential and capabilities to help HCMC to have the COVID-19 outbreak under control.
