Presenting cash and in-kind gifts to people in financial hardship and frontline workers
Leaders of district authorities and Da Nang border guards have visited and presented thousands of cash and in-kind gifts to people who are struggling financially due to the COVID-19 pandemic and those who are helping in the fight against coronavirus.

Leaders of Ngu Hanh Son District recently gave 2,500 cash gifts valued at VND 300,000 each to people in financial hardship and policy beneficiaries in the locality. Besides, VND 270 million worth of gifts were presented to people who are on the front lines in the battle against COVID-19.
Ngu Hanh Son District authorities will distribute 4,500 cash gifts worth VND 500,000 each funded by the city’s budget and generous donors to low-income families.
In a similar move, leaders of Thanh Khe District visited and presented VND 70 million worth of gifts to frontline workers who are military and police personnel, staff of the district Medical Centre and the Phu Loc Border Guard Station
Members of the ward-level Women's Unions in Cam Le District were active in cooking and delivering free meals to frontline workers, as well as offering free drinks, sticky rice, vermicelli, fruit, cake, milk to staff at COVID-19 checkpoints at a total cost of more than VND 12 million. The District Farmers' Association gave 12 money gifts valued at VND 500,000 each to its members who are helping the fight against COVID-19. The District’s Labour Union worked with the Authority of Da Nang Hi-Tech Parks and Industrial Parks to give 500 gifts worth VND 500,000 each to workers living in rented accommodation in Hoa Tho Tay Ward.
The Women's Unions across Hoa Vang District distributed 700 gifts totalling VND 210 million to local women in difficult circumstances. These gifts were funded by the ‘Sharing love and joining forces to beat COVID-19’ program launched by the Da Nang Women's Union.

On August 16 and 17, the Son Tra Border Guard Station worked with the Da Nang Border Guard and Tho Quang Ward authorities to give 10 in-kind gifts to the fishermen operating in the Tho Quang Fishing wharf in order to help them overcome financial hardship and through this difficult time. Each gift included 10kg of rice and instant noodles.
