On Sunday, Sun Group, a Vietnamese realty giant based in Da Nang, donated VND45 billion to the city for the purchase of food for local residents who now live under or near the poverty threshold and COVID-19 quick test kits.

Addressing the reception ceremony, on behalf of the municipal administration and people, Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Le Trung Chinh expressed his gratitude to Sun Group for the cash donation, and hoped that it would continue to support the city in ensuring social security, especially in the ongoing tough fight against COVID-19. 

“This is a valuable gift, contributing to the city's effective implementation of pandemic prevention and control, thus step by step preventing the spread of the virus and eliminate it as soon as possible”, said Chairman Chinh.
