Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (VietJet Air) and Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank – HDBank, both under the management of Sovico Group, on Saturday donated two special ambulances to Da Nang.

Mr Le Trung Chinh, the Chairman of the municipal People's Committee and Head of the municipal Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, thanked donors and expressed his gratitude for their generosity in support of the city’s efforts in the fight against the deadly virus. Mr Chinh also greatly appreciated corporate social responsibility of VietJet Air and HDBank, and Sovico Group as a whole, as well as acknowledged their willingness to assist Da Nang to tackle COVID-19.

Chairman Chinh hoped that the two businesses would continue their efforts to support Da Nang, and other localities nationwide to contain the COVID-19 pandemic

The donated ambulances will be used for transportation and all health functionaries in the Da Nang Lung Hospital and Hoa Vang District Medical Centre where COVID-19 patients are being treated.
