Additional 400 tonnes of root, tuber, leafy vegetables to be distributed to Da Nang families amid COVID-19
Following the approval by the Da Nang People's Committee, an additional 400 tonnes of root, tuber, leafy vegetables will be distributed to families citywide amid the practice of the ‘stay-at-home’ mandate applied to all residents amid the complex developments of the still-raging COVID-19 wave.

This will be the fifth batch of vegetable in aid to be delivered to all local dwellers.
Accordingly, Hai Chau, Thanh Khe, Son Tra, Ngu Hanh Son and Cam Le districts will receive 35 tonnes of vegetable each, whilst Lien Chieu District alone will get 70 tonnes and Hoa Vang District with 55 tonnes.
Besides, a total of 100 tonnes of vegetables will be distributed to industrial parks-located enterprises whose employees are staying at work under the so-called ‘3- on- the- spot” (on-site production, on-site dining, on-site rest) approach.
The upcoming delivery of 400 tonnes of vegetables will bring the total amount to 5,200 tonnes for Da Nang residents.
Also, 30,000 gifts containing food and essential goods have till date presented to all districts, police and military units, businesses implementing ‘3- on- the- spot” approach in industrial zones.
