Da Nang leader presents Mid-Autumn gifts to pediatric patients
On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2021, Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman Ngo Thi Kim Yen visited and presented gifts to pediatric patients being treated at the Da Nang Oncology Hospital.

Vice Chairman Yen wished the children to make significant recovery soon and return to their beloved families for normal life, urging that the hospital’s medical team to continuously pay attention to creating the best mental conditions for patients, and pediatric patients in particular, who are unfortunately suffering from serious diseases.
The city’s high-ranking official highly appreciated the hospital for successfully applying modern medical techniques in bringing care, treatment to the children, in tandem with actively building up fun entertainment activities to meet their spiritual life.
“The hospital’s staff must propose the most appropriate treatment regimens for child patients, especially those with life-threatening diseases. At the same time, heed shall be paid to actively implementing effective preventive measures against COVID-19, thus creating a safe environment for the best treatment and care for patients”, said Vice Chairman Yen.

According doctor Tran Tu Quy, the hospital’s Director, more than 600 in-patients are under treatment at the hospital for the time being, of whom 17 are children. According to the latest statistics, 30% of the patients are Da Nang residents whilst the remainder hail from other provinces and cities in the Central Viet Nam and Central Highlands regions.
To meet the increasing needs of the general public for medical examinations and treatment, the hospital has constantly focused on purchasing modern medical equipment, promoting technology transfers and innovations to develop the most appropriate treatment regimens for patients.
