Mr Vilayvong Boutdakham, Governor of Champasak Province extended his greetings to Da Nang leaders on the occasion of the country's 76^th National Day (September 2). He expressed his hope that Da Nang will soon win the fight against COVID-19, and successfully realize the city’s dual goals of controlling the spread of COVID-19 and promoting socio-economic development. He also took the opportunity to invite the Da Nang Party Chief to visit Champasak Province at an appropriate time.

Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang expressed his delight at fruitful results from bilateral cooperation and friendship with Champasak Province. He briefed his Lao counterpart on the COVID-19 situation in Da Nang. Mr Quang also said that he looks forward to visiting Champasak Province as soon as possible.

The two leaders affirmed that the relations between Da Nang and Laotian localities, including Champasak province, and Viet Nam - Laos as a whole, will be forever green and forever sustainable.

Da Nang leaders also received congratulations from leaders of such Laotian localities as Savannakhet, Bolykhamxay and the consulate general of Laos in Da Nang on the occasion of the country's 76^th National Day.
