Every day from 6:00 am, Lieutenant Nguyen Phu Hoang, Hoa Minh Ward, Lien Chieu District and his patrol partners hit the roads to tackle a number of violations, in tandem with reminding locals to stay at their place of residence.
As reported, our lives have already fundamentally changed as a result of the COVID-19 wave. Beyond the immediate impacts on health, jobs and incomes, the virus resurgence is increasing the public's anxiety and worry, affecting their social relations, sense of belonging and familiar free lifestyles. Therefore, it is not easy to force them to strictly adhere to the pandemic prevention and control measures.
In addition, the dangers of police’s duties are real in the face of violator’s discontent and opposition. However, in order to prevent the deadly disease from spreading in the community, they know how to respond to any situation and always use a standard attitude to remind locals to stay at home.
Thanks to dedicated help and daily thoughtful interactions with citizens of the police force, a decrease in the number of rule violations has been witnessed over the past few days, bringing safety and peace to locals.
During days of complying with the ‘stay-at-home’ mandate, not only go shopping for locals, the local police forces, in a prompt fashion, have strengthened patrols targeting small alleys in a bid to detect and handle anyone going against the COVID-19 prevention measures, as well as remind people to strictly abide by the city's anti-pandemic policies.
At midnight, while most people peacefully sleep, the police force is still diligently patrolling each road. Although the stillness will sometimes make their homesickness rise, they always try their utmost since knowing that their presence conveys peace of mind in residents.
