The Da Nang Labour Federation on Wednesday presented gifts worth VND1 million each to 2,189 female Trade Union members who lost their jobs and got stuck in difficult circumstances under the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Besides, VND970 million from the budget of the municipal Labour Federation has been spent on building 11 new houses and upgrading the 21 downgraded ones for local Trade Union members and workers living in difficult circumstances.

As for the 2021 target, VND1.53 billion is planned for the building of new houses and the upgrade of old ones for those in need.
