A virtual signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on enhancing cooperation about overseas Vietnamese between the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs and the Ho Chi Minh City Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs took place on November 4.

Under the deal, the two sides will share information and experience in formulating regimes and policies related to overseas Vietnamese, as well as in calling for Vietnamese businesses, experts and intellectuals in foreign countries to make great contributions to the socio-economic development of Da Nang and HCMC.

In addition, a number of business trips and working sessions will be organised by leaders of the two agencies to exchange information and experience in overseas Vietnamese. Also, the organisation of forums and conferences in such aspects of technology and science, education, culture, tourism, socio-economic development and commercial investment, will be accelerated in the coming time in order to fully tap sources of overseas Vietnamese.

Moreover, Vietnamese experts, intellectuals and businessmen abroad will be facilitated to work, conduct surveys and seek cooperation and investment opportunities in Da Nang and HCMC.
