Da Nang administration chief pays pre-Tet rounds to agencies, social policy beneficiaries

Da Nang People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh on Wednesday paid Tet visits to the city-based Department 11 (General Department II – the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence), some social policy families and the Da Nang Urban Environment JSC.

During his visit to the Department 11, on behalf of the Da Nang leaders, Chairman Chinh thanked Department 11 for its support and active cooperation in ensuring political security, social order and safety and socio-economic development in the city.

He wished the officers and soldiers of Department 11 to welcome in the lunar new year with joy and happiness, adding that the municipal authorities will create the best possible conditions for this defence unit to successfully complete its assigned tasks.

Meeting with the staff of the Da Nang Urban Environment JSC, the municipal administration chief  highly hailed them for well performing environmental cleanups, including garbage collection in the city over the past time. He also urged the company's staff to strive to complete their tasks, especially ensuring a spacious, clean and beautiful urban appearance during the upcoming Tet festival.

Whilst extending Tet greetings to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Nua and war invalid Le Thi Cong, Chairman Chin expressed his deep gratitude to them for having made their great service in the national revolution.

He also hoped that they would continue to stay healthy, uphold their families’ traditional patriotism, and encourage their descendants to make greater efforts for the city’s growth and well observe the guidelines of the Party and the State.
