Da Nang leader pays visits to medical facilities on Physicians' Day
On the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the Vietnamese Physicians’ Day which falls on February 27, Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairwoman Ngo Thi Kim Yen on Friday paid a visit to the Da Nang Emergency Centre, Hospital C, the Da Nang Centre for Disease Control, Family Hospital, Thanh Binh and Hoa Thuan Tay ward-level medical stations inHai Chau District.

During her visits to the aforementioned medical establishments, Vice Chairwoman Yen, on behalf of the city leaders congratulated their medical staff on the Vietnamese Physicians’ Day. She highly appreciated their great efforts to fulfill the dual goals of ensuring medical examination and treatment and well performing the COVID-19 prevention and control missions.
The local government, in particular, highly praised the sense of responsibility of the medical facilities in conducting COVID-19 zoning, contact-tracing, testing with highest determination level and vaccination rollouts, thereby contributing to step by step controlling the coronavirus wave and heading towards a safe and effective adaptation to the pandemic.
The city's leaders have always strived to ensure sufficient supplies of equipment and protective gears for the local medical force so that they can protect themselves whilst well fulfilling their assigned tasks, specially their pandemic prevention missions.
