COVID-19 prevention and control regulations ensured in the recruit handover ceremony

According to Colonel Nguyen Quoc Huong, Commander of the Da Nang Military Command, the Military Service Councils of districts thoroughly understood and fully implemented the documents of the Da Nang People's Committee on army recruitment being associated with COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.

At the same time, the units have also implemented the army rear policy in a well-being manner; strengthened measures to strictly manage quantity and quality and firmly grasp the developments of the COVID-19 situation related to enlisted citizens to promptly notify the receiving unit and report to the municipal Standing Military Service Council.

The participants in the send-off ceremony strictly followed the 5K protocols: khau trang (facemask), khu khuan (disinfection), khoang cach (distance), khong tu tap (no gathering) and khai bao y te (health declaration). They have received two or more doses of COVID-19 vaccines and had negative results for SARS-CoV-2 valid until the date of the new recruit handover ceremony.

Those declaring any suspected symptoms of SARS-CoV-2 infection or related to confirmed patients (F0) or their close contacts (F1) did participate in the ceremony.

Under the regulations, in the case of citizens who are F1, or close contacts of F1, they still have to go to serve the military service as planned after being tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 by the RT-PCR method.

In another hand, if they have a fever, check again with a mercury thermometer. In case of the fever continues, quarantine them in the locality to monitor and treat them within 7 days.

For a district having a complicated pandemic situation and belonging to level 3 or 4 areas, the handover of new recruits are carried out directly without holding a ceremony.
