On Monday morning, the High Command of Navy Region 3 in Da Nang launched the ‘Eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho’ tree-planting campaign 2022.

Officers and men of the Navy Region 3 became actively involved in the tree-planting movement 2022

The annual event aimed to raise awareness among navy officers and men about the benefits of trees for livable and sustainable communities such as providing oxygen, enhancing air quality and climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, supporting wildlife, and improving the natural landscape.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, officers and men of the Navy Region 3 became actively involved in taking care of nearly 5,000 trees of all kinds; planting more than 43,000 shade trees and 500 fruit and ornamental trees.
