Social insurance books, health insurance cards presented to the poor
The Viet Nam Social Security (VSS) on Tuesday presented social insurance books and health insurance cards to people living in difficult circumstances with the funding of VND 17.2 billion raised from the staff of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank).
The Da Nang branch of the VSS handed over 170 social insurance books and 420 health insurance cards worth a total amount of more than VND 943 million to the needy.
Previously, the staff of the VSS in its branches nationwide had donated more than VND 5.9 billion to the giving of 3,146 gifts to poor patients, along with 487 social insurance books and 10,180 health insurance cards for those living in difficult circumstances, ethnic minority groups and households that have just lifted from the city’s poverty thresholds.
