Da Nang-based business supports building of great solidarity houses, sanitation facilities in mountainous village
The Hoa Thuan Tay Ward administration in Hai Chau District, Da Nang and the city-based A Vuong Hydropower Joint Stock Company (AVC) donated a combined total of VND300 million VND to the building of three great solidarity houses and 10 sanitation facilities, and giving gifts to ethnic minority households at the resettlement site of Z'Lao village, Dang Commune, Tay Giang District, Quang Nam Province.

Secretary of Tay Giang District Party Committee Bling Mia expressed her gratitude to Hai Chau District and AVC for their meaningful support over the past time for ethnic minorities in this mountainous district.
In addition, the Da Nang People's Committee decided to provide financial support for Tay Giang District for the building of two bridges in Bhaleê and Tr'hy communes respectively in a bid to overcome the consequences of floods and landslides at the end of 2020.
Till date, these bridges have been completed, thereby serving socio-economic development and local rescue and disaster prevention.
The Z'Lao authorities were urged to mobilizs forces and coordinate with households to put into use the great solidarity houses and the sanitation works with quality assurance before this year's rainy season.
As reported by Chairman of the Board of Directors of the AVC Ngo Viet Hung, since coming into operation, the company has operated the reservoir in accordance with the process of single-reservoir and inter-reservoir operation in Vu Gia - Thu Bon river basin, generating 9,094 billion kWh of electricity and contributing more than VND1,400 billion to the State budget.
AVC has regularly coordinated with localities of Da Nang and Quang Nam Province to organise many social welfare activities.
In particular, in Z'Lao village, the company supported the construction of four great solidarity houses for ethnic minority households.
