Specifically, during the 2022-2025 period, Da Nang is targeting to lower its rate of poor families with working capacity to 1-1.5%, and there will be no poor households with working capacity by the end of 2025.
Between 2026 and 2030, special attention will be paid to sustainable multi-dimensional poverty reduction, as well as creating all conditions for poor households to access basic social services and improve their quality of life.
To achieve the aforementioned goals, efforts will be made to appeal for people and social organisations to give active support to poor households, and effectively implement the poverty reduction programme in association with the new-style rural area building movement.
Additionally, heed will be on continuing to research and perfect poverty reduction policies in association with sustainable development goals, renovating poverty reduction methods in accordance with the socio-economic development requirements and tasks, providing vocational training courses and jobs for locals, facilitating poor families to work abroad for a definite time, and associating poverty reduction with disease and disaster mitigation and control, and climate change adaptation.
