During his Friday reception for Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Viet Nam Hans-Peter Glanzer, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Ho Ky Minh said that the city is making efforts to boost its socio-economic recovery and development after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Focus is now placed on strongly developing the industries of information technology, high technology, services, tourism and logistics.

The city is investing in Software Park No. 2, of which a part is dedicated to the field of innovation to attract investors and businesses in this field.

According to Standing Vice Chairman Minh hoped that through this working trip, Ambassador Hans-Peter Glanzer will support Da Nang to establish cooperative ties with Austrian partners, especially towards establishing friendly relationships with Graz City on the basis of their similarities in strengths and development priorities as well as promoting the development of tourism and the smart city building.

Ambassador Hans-Peter Glanzer highly appreciated the modern development of Da Nang over the past time.

In particular, the Austrian diplomat affirmed a fact that he is ready to support Da Nang in exchanging experiences with Austrian businesses to promote the construction of a smart city as well as develop tourism linkages between Da Nang and Austrian localities in the near future.
