While hosting the visiting Da Nang delegation, leaders of the Savan-Seno Special Economic Zone asked for support from the municipal leaders to encourage more local businesses to invest into the zone.

Meanwhile, Da Nang leaders pledged to organise an investment connection conference with the participation of Lao and Vietnamese businesses, thereby encouraging them to learn about investment opportunities in the Savan-Seno Special Economic Zone and industrial parks in Da Nang as well.

According to a spokesperson for the Savan-Seno Special Economic Zone, investors in the zoneone will enjoy attractive preferential tariff policies, and income tax exemption for 2-10 years since the achievement of profits, then a tax rate of 8-10% will be applied.

In addition, the 'one-stop shop' mechanism in addressing administrative procedures relating to the granting of operating, import and export, and construction licences, tax registration, and certificates of origin, is being applied at the zone.

At the Laos - Viet Nam Friendship Senior High School, Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh expressed his desire that the school’s staff would effectively teach Vietnamese language for Lao children in order to facilitate them to come to Da Nang to study and live.

On behalf of the city leaders, Vice Chairman Minh donated VND4.8 billion from the local budget to fund the building of a multi-purpose house in the school, as well as gave 3 laptops and 10 tablets.

During his visit to the Vietnamese Language Centre in Savannakhet Province, Vice Chairman Minh expressed his delight at the centre's outstanding results over recent years.

He hoped that the centre would continue promoting the teaching of Vietnamese language and the introduction of Vietnamese culture to the people of Laos, thereby contributing to advertising beautiful images of Vietnamese people in general and Da Nang in particular to Laos.

On this occasion, the city leaders donated 2 laptops and 10 tablets to the centre in service of its teaching work.
