Da Nang leaders congratulate Consulate General of Laos in Da Nang

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationships between Viet Nam and Laos (September 5) and the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Viet Nam and Laos (July 18), the city's delegation, led by Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang, on Saturday paid a visit and congratulated the Consulate General of Laos in Da Nang.

Secretary Quang extended his best wishes to the Lao Consul General in Da Nang Souphanh Hadaoheuang and the Lao Consulate General's staff on the occasion of the two anniversaries, affirming that the Party Committee, administration and people of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole, have always attached great importance to cultivating the solidarity and special relationship between Viet Nam and Laos.

The Da Nang Party chief thanked Consul General Souphanh Hadaoheuang for his efforts in promoting relationships between Da Nang, other central Vietnamese provinces and the South Central provinces of Laos.

At the same time, he hoped that, in the coming time, the Consulate General of Laos in Da Nang will conduct more meaningful activities to continue to cultivate the special friendship between the 2 countries.

Lao Consul General in Da Nang Souphanh Hadaoheuang thanked the city leaders for the good wishes and expressed his appreciation for the great support that Da Nang has given to the South Central provinces of Laos over the past time.

The Lao diplomat affirmed that he would continue to tighten the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Da Nang and the South Central provinces of Laos, hereby contributing to fostering the relationship between the 2 countries.
