Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang, along with municipal People’s Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh, on Wednesday morning, visited the municipa Police Department on the occasion of the 60^th traditional day of the People’s Police force (July 20, 1962-2022).

On behalf of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of the city, Secretary Quang extended his best wishes to all leaders, officers and men of the people’s public security force.

He also applauded the local police force for their efforts in ensuring political security and social safety, contributing to the city’s growth.

“This is an opportunity to review the tradition and the achievements that the people’s public security force  have achieved in the cause of national construction and defence. The police force play a core role in the fight against crime, ensuring the security, making an important contribution to the cause of national construction, protection and development” emphasised Secretary Quang.

The city leader took the opportunity to urge staff of the city's Police Department to continue their efforts to promote tradition of solidarity and improve capacity and qualifications in a bid to well fulfill their assigned tasks, as well as make positive contributions to the development of the city in the coming time.

Major General Vu Xuan Vien, Secretary of the Party Committee cum Director of the Da Nang Police Department, expressed his sincere thanks to the city leaders for their special care for the local police force over the past time.

He vowed to continue to promote good qualities and a 60-year heroic tradition, and enhance the solidarity, unity of will and action, and firmness in the face of all difficulties and challenges, in order to successfully carry out the assigned political tasks, thereby contributing to ensuring political security, social order and safety, and driving the city's socio-economic development.
