Da Nang Party chief presents gifts to revolution contributors
To mark the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang on Thursday morning visited and gave gifts to policy beneficiary families and contributors to the national revolution in Hai Chau District.

During his visits to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Thoi residing in Hai Chau Ward 1, war invalid Nguyen Minh Ha in Thanh Binh Ward and Mr Nguyen Dung Sy, a martyr’s son, residing in Thuan Phuoc Ward, Secretary Quang extended his gracious wishes to them and learned about the lives of their families.
Mr Quang wished these revolution contributors good health and happiness always, as well as asked them to continue their efforts to contribute their valuable experiences to their hometown, and continue to be a shining example for their children and younger generations in the city to follow.
On behalf of Da Nang’s leaders, the Da Nang Party Chief expressed his deepest gratitude towards those who rendered services to the nation. He said that the Party, government and people of Da Nang will forever remember the sacrifice of the heroes, martyrs, war invalids, wounded veterans and revolution contributors for the cause of national liberation, construction and protection. The brave sacrifice by fallen combatants has helped the nation enjoy the fruits of independence and freedom, Mr Quang remarked.

During his visits, Mr Quang also handed gifts from Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Thoi, wounded soldier Nguyen Minh Ha and Mr. Nguyen Dung Sy, a martyr’s son. .
