The Da Nang Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, on Friday, partnered with the Viet Nam Martyrs' Family Support Association and Vingroup's Thien Tam Fund to present gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers and families of war martyrs in the city.

This meaningful activity aimed to express the national tradition of ‘when drinking water, remember its source’, and to commemorate the heroic martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation’s re-unification, as well as to educate the younger generations about the country’s revolutionary tradition.

Accordingly, 8 heroic Vietnamese mothers representing 106 ones in the city received gratitude gifts from Vingroup's Thien Tam Fund.

The Viet Nam Martyrs' Family Support Association gave gifts to 26 representatives of martyrs’ relatives in the locality.

Meanwhile, the Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs will coordinate with authorities at local level to give gifts to the remaining 98 heroic Vietnamese mothers and 74 martyrs' relatives.
