Ms. Mizonova Maria Georgievna, the newly-accredited Russian Consul General in Da Nang, on Friday, paid a courtesy visit, and hand a consular authentication which was issued by the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to leader of the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs.

During his reception for the Russian diplomat, Director of the municipal Department of Foreign Affairs Huynh Duc Truong congratulated Ms. Mizonova Maria Georgievna on her new position and expressed his delight at the comprehensive cooperation relationships between Viet Nam and Russia in many spheres over recent years.

Mr. Huynh Duc Truong believed that in her new position, Ms. Mizonova Maria Georgievna would fulfill her duties well, continuing to strengthen the friendship relationships between Viet Nam - Russia in general, and between Da Nang and Russian localities in particular in the time to come.

In reply, the newly-accredited diplomat expressed her honour to accept the assignment in Da Nang.

She pledged to continue to make practical contributions to fostering the bilateral cooperation relations between Da Nang and Russian localities in many fields in the coming time.

Ms. Mizonova Maria Georgievna also took the opportunity to ask for support from the municipal Department of Foreign Affairs to help her fulfill her tasks well during her tenure in the city.
