Construction begins on 5 charity houses for Co Tu people
The representative office of Agribank in Central Viet Nam has coordinated with the People's Committee of Hoa Bac Commune in Da Nang’s Hoa Vang District to donate funds and start construction on 5 charity houses for poor Co Tu ethnic minority families in two villages of Ta Lang and Gian Bi.

They are the families of Bui Thi Soai and Nguyen Thi Khuoi in Gian Bi Village, and those of Bui Thi Tham, Truong Van Dao and Nguyen Van No in Ta Lang Village. Each family received VND100 million.
Receiving a large amount of money to build a house, Mr. Nguyen Van No from Ta Lang Village said that he was very excited to receive a financial assistance of VND100 million to build a permanent house. “From now on, my family does not have to worry about the stormy season” added he.
Deputy Head of the Agribank Representative Office in Central Viet Nam Nguyen Tien Truong remarked the offices and branches of Agribank citywide have always been actively involved in many social welfare activities in recent years in the city and Hoa Vang District in general, and Hoa Bac Commune in particular.
The focus has been on building schools, medical stations and gratitude houses, implementing COVID-19 prevention and control measures, launching programmes to give poor pupils strength to follow their academic aspirations, giving gifts to social policy and poor families on holidays and Tet, and taking care of heroic Vietnamese mothers.
As planned, the construction of the above-mentioned gratitude houses will be completed and handed over to the needy before the Lunar New Year 2023.
