The intention is to encourage fishermen to continue going out to sea for fishing trips with peace of mind, thereby contributing to protecting the national sovereignty over its sea and islands.

At the same time, the two units raised awareness among the fishermen about the fight against illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing, aiming to join efforts with departments and agencies at all levels, and the whole country, to remove the ‘yellow card’ on Vietnamese seafood exports.
