City leader visits businesses on Viet Nam Entrepreneurs' Day
Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman Tran Phuoc Son, on Thursday, paid visits to a number of city-based businesses on the occasion of the Viet Nam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13).

At the Petroleum Company Region 5, Vice Chairman Son acknowledged and highly appreciated the unit's efforts and positive contributions in production and business activities, especially in the context of the ups and downs of gasoline prices worldwide.
According to the Company, the company's market share currently accounts for 50% of the market. The company’s sales in the first 9 months of 2022 increased by 16% over the same period in 2021, and its revenue during that period was VND356 billion, reaching 71% of the year plan.

During his visit to the Hoa Khanh General Trading and Services Co., Ltd., Mr. Son said that the world petroleum market has suffered many fluctuations due to armed conflicts between Russia and Ukraine, and the supply is scarce. Therefore, he suggested the company improve their high sense of business organization, and strengthen connections with focal points to ensure supply at retail stores.
When meeting with leaders of the Thuan Phuoc Seafood and Trading JSC, the city leader spoke highly the company’s continuous efforts to create jobs for employees, thereby contributing to driving the city’s general socio-economic development.
For her part, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phi Anh, General Director of the Thuan Phuoc Seafood and Trade JSC, informed that the export turnover of the enterprise between January and September reached US$106.2 million, up 24.2% over the same period. The company targets to reach US$140 million for the whole year, an increase of 8% against 2021.
The company proposed the city leaders to facilitate it to access preferential loans from the city’s Development Investment Fund, mobilise resources for the field of processing products, and ensure environmental hygiene and traffic safety in the area.
