Da Nang continues to reinforce cooperation relations with South Korean localities and businesses
The Consul General of South Korea in Da Nang hosted a banquet on Friday evening to celebrate South Korea’s National Day (October 3, 1949 - 2022). Municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh made his attendance at the event.
In his speech delivered at the banquet, Mr Ahn Min-sik, South Korean Consul General in Da Nang, expressed his pleasure to celebrate the National Day of South Korea in Da Nang.
The Korean diplomat affirmed that the Viet Nam-South Korea diplomatic ties continues to be fostered and deepened. Trade turnover between the two countries has increased from US$500 million at the time of establishing diplomatic relations to US$80.6 billion in 2021. The figure is prospected to reach US$100 billion in 2022.
Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh gave a congratulatory speech to staff of the Consul General of South Korea in Da Nang on their special occasion.
He affirmed that Da Nang will make efforts to contribute to fostering and developing the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership between Viet Nam and South Korea.
Mr. Minh took the opportunity to ask for support from South Korean localities and enterprises to promote his city’s tourism images in the land of kimchi, making Da Nang an ideal investment and tourism destination for South Korean businesses and people.
