Speaking at a Monday reception in Da Nang for a group of US businesses, municipal People’s Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh expressed his delight at fruitful results from cooperation activities between US and Da Nang businesses over the past time.

He informed that enterprises based in Da Nang are always facilitated by the municipal government to ensure their smooth and effective operation. Thanks to its favourable geographical position, abundant human resources and preferential policies, Da Nang is one of the localities that are being interested by domestic and foreign investors.

Currently, the city is calling for investment in such aspects as information technology, and digital transformation, and more, added Mr. Chinh.

Chairman Chinh said that the welcome of the business delegation gave the city an opportunity to introduce its incentive mechanisms and policies, its potential and projects at industrial park appealing for investment, to the US business community.

For his part, Mr. Christopher Vanloon, Chairman of the Da Nang branch of the American Chamber of Commerce, thanked the city leader for his warm welcome. He revealed that the purpose of the visit was to look for cooperation and investment opportunities in spheres of digital transformation, digital economy and smart city building in Da Nang, as well as tighten the cooperation relationships between the USA and Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole.
