During his visit on Tuesday to the Centres for Caring People with Meritorious Services to National Revolution in Da Nang and Quang Nam Province, municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Le Quang Nam expressed his deep gratitude to elderly people for their great contributions to the national revolution for the cause of national liberation and reunification. He extended his Tet greetings to them, and wished them good health and a happy life.

Mr. Nam asked the Departments of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs to provide the best care and support for the elderly, and to promptly report to the leaders on problems in the regime and policies for them.

When paying visits to Hoa Lien and Hoa Ninh communes in Hoa Vang District, Vice Chairman Le Quang Nam acknowledged great efforts made by local authorities in performing professional tasks, thereby contributing to the development of the city.

He suggested the localities continue to uphold their positive results, arouse the strength of the entire people, and accompany the city leaders to build a civilized, modern and comprehensive city.

On the occasion, on behalf of the city's leaders, Mr. Nam gave Tet gifts to the elderly at two centers along with the authorities and people of Hoa Lien and Hoa Ninh communes.
