Beautiful image of Da Nang's border guard youths
Youths of the Da Nang Border Guard High Command fostered a spirit of impulse, volunteerism and creativity to participate in an impressive range of all field activities to mark Youth Month in March, contributing to protecting the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and ensuring effective border security.

In their efforts to step up prevention initiatives and the fight against drugs and crime, young people of the Da Nang border guard force bravely participated in handling violations related to smuggling, counterfeiting and trade fraud, human trafficking, illegally buying, selling, storing and using weapons and explosives, producing and using counterfeit money, plus drug trafficking.
Besides, youth union members of the Da Nang Border Guard High Command brought warm-hearted gifts to the needy in Chon Chu Village, Nam Giang District, Quang Nam Province. Furthermore, they visited and gave gifts to 2 heroic Vietnamese mothers namely Phan Thi Buoi in Quang Nam Province, and Mai Thi Say in Ngu Hanh Son District’s Hoa Hai Ward, Da Nang.
As part of its ‘Adopted children of the Border Guard Station’ program, the Da Nang Border Guard High Command presented gifts to 3 children to encourage them to overcome adversity in life and excel in their studies.
In response to the National Volunteer Day for Building New-Style Rural Areas (March 12) and the National "Green Sunday" Campaign (March 19), 240 members of grassroots youth union organizations of the Da Nang border guard force along with affiliated units participated in clean-ups on some beaches and repair of damaged items at public entertainment venues located in coastal areas. Moreover, youths of the Da Nang border guard force organized 5 awareness raising events about Viet Nam’s sea and Islands that opened for 620 school pupils across the city.
Senior Lieutenant Le Anh Minh, the Secretary of the Youth Union Organisation of the Da Nang Port Border Guard Post, said that the unit's youth union members fostered impulse and strengths of young people to participate in meaningful activities during Youth Month in order to show their talents and intelligence to build a beautiful lifestyle. Included were blood donation during a voluntary blood donation drive launched by the Municipal Youth Union, plus organization of the 'Ring the Golden Bell – the month of March with Da Nang youths" contest and the team building program named "Conquer challenges" with the coordination of youth union organizations of Thach Thang, Thanh Binh, Thuan Phuoc wards, the Da Nang Port, Bo Cong Anh Preschool, Vo Thi Sau Primary School.
Apart from the above-mentioned activities, the city's border guards were engaged in supporting local young people to increase the use of online public services and conduct electronic payments in efforts to boost digital transformation in the city.
Colonel Dinh Ngoc Anh, the Deputy Political Commissar of the Da Nang Border Guard High Command said: “Every March is a special occasion for youth union members of the city’s border guard force to actively get involved in meaningful projects and tasks to drive the city’s socio-economic development, as well as ensure national defense and security in maritime boundaries. Their engagement in these meaningful activities also contributes to educating patriotism for them to motivate them to do their best to protect national sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as to contribute more for the construction and protection of the country”.
