Da Nang, Kisarazu enhance bilateral cooperation relations

Mayor of Kisarazu City in Japan Watanabe Yoshikuni said his locality wished to cooperate with Da Nang in such spheres as preschool education and health care at a meeting with Da Nang People’s Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh in the central city on Friday morning.

He pledged that he would act as a bridge to promote the development of friendship and cooperation between Kisarazu and Da Nang in particular, and Japan and Viet Nam in general, in the coming time.

In reply, Vice Chairman Chinh highly appreciated the very good comprehensive strategic partnership between Viet Nam and Japan over recent years. He said many Japanese enterprises have been operating effectively in the city, and the municipal authorities have always created maximum conditions for foreign investors to invest in the city, including those from Japan.

The city leader remarked that Da Nang has been focusing on appealing for investment in such aspects as information technology, high-tech industry, innovative start-ups, seaports, airports, tourism, services, education, and health care.

The host expressed his desire that Mayor Watanabe Yoshikuni will do his utmost to call on businesses and partners of Kisarazu City in particular and Japan in general to visit and learn about investment opportunities in Da Nang.

Mr. Chinh hoped that direct flights between Da Nang and Japanese localities would be resumed soon to boost bilateral cooperation relations with Kisarazu City in all fields.
